Night of Stars: Oscar 2011

Did you guys watch the Oscars? I love the red carpet even more. Some of my favorite outfits of the night were Mila Kunis in Elie Saab, Michelle Williams in Chanel Couture, Halle Berry in Marchesa, Cate Blanchett in Givenchy Couture, Camilla Alves in Kaufman Franco, Gwyneth Paltrow in Calvin Klein and of course 14 year old Hailee Steinfeld looks so gorgeous in Marchesa.

Timberland EathKeeper Boots

I wanted to share with you a great new find. Heritage brand Timberland has introduced a new collection of boots this year that are really stylish called EarthKeepers. The EarthKeeper collection are partly made with recycled materials but you wouldn't know if from the looks of them. Finding boots that are well made and will last a long time for a reasonable price (under $200) is challenging these days. Timberland has been making craftsman style boots since the 1950s. My favorite design aspect of these styles by Timberland is the mixing of leather and suede. I have a pair of the EarthKeepers Bethel Buckle Tall Zip Boot in Bitter Chocolate and I love them. Kenny 'I didn't sign up to be called gay' Chesney is launching a fashion line, People reports:

"The pieces — for men and women — are designed to look and feel like 'that favorite T-shirt that you’ve washed a lot that is kind of sun
bleached… your favorite khakis, and your shirt that you’ve had
forever,' he tells PEOPLE. (Naturally, there are worn-in baseball caps,
too.) Chesney was so involved in the design process that he even
name-checks friends on some of the items. 'I’ve got a shirt that says 'Bob’s Charter' and Bob is a buddy of mine that’s been living in the
islands for a long time.'”
